Significant updates to ZARWise, newest first. Weekly checks that find no change aren't listed: the date of the latest check is shown on every page.
Added seven calculators: income tax and SARS refund, retirement lump sum tax, tax-free savings, capital gains tax, personal loans, VAT and a salary converter. Added the prime rate page with its history, the SARS tax tables page, and nine guides. Salary pages now compare take-home pay with the 2025/26 tax year.
Every calculator now has its own page with worked examples and quick answers. Salary-after-tax pages are now in R1 000 steps up to R60 000 and R5 000 steps up to R150 000; old addresses redirect to the nearest amount.
Added the car finance, retirement annuity tax saving and two-pot withdrawal calculators, five guides, and salary-after-tax pages from R5 000 to R150 000 a month.
ZARWise launched with take-home pay, bond repayment, home affordability and transfer cost calculators. Every table and fee was checked against SARS, the Reserve Bank, the Deeds Office tariff and the Law Society guideline.
