Estimates, not advice

The calculators give estimates for general information and planning. They are not tax, legal, financial or investment advice, and AfroTech is not an authorised financial services provider or a registered tax practitioner.

Your actual figures may differ. For example:

• Your employer's payroll may calculate PAYE slightly differently, and your final tax is only settled when SARS assesses your return.
• Banks set your interest rate and decide how much to lend based on your own circumstances and credit record.
• Attorneys' fees are guidelines and can be negotiated, and disbursements vary between firms.

Before making a financial decision, check the figures with your employer, your bank, a registered tax practitioner, a bond originator or a conveyancing attorney.

Accuracy

We take figures from official sources and update them regularly, and each page shows when its figures were last checked. However, rates and rules change, and we cannot promise that every result is complete, current or free of errors. If you spot a mistake, please tell us.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, AfroTech is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of ZARWise or reliance on its results. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act that cannot legally be excluded.

Advertising and links

The site shows advertising and links to other websites, such as SARS and the Reserve Bank. We are not responsible for the content, products or privacy practices of those sites or advertisers. An advertisement is not an endorsement.

Using the site fairly

You may use ZARWise for your own personal or business planning, and you may share your results. Please don't copy the site's design, text or code to publish as your own, or try to disrupt the site.

Intellectual property

The ZARWise name, design, text and code belong to AfroTech. Official rates and tables belong to their respective publishers.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new effective date. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
